Information and sources

We collect information you provide when ordering, creating an account, subscribing or contacting us: name, email, phone, billing and delivery details, order history and messages. Shopify and payment providers process payment information; we receive transaction status and relevant order details rather than asking you to send card information by email. Browser, device, IP address and usage information may be collected through the hosted store and cookies.

Purposes

We use this information to operate the store, process and deliver orders, respond to support and return requests, maintain security, prevent misuse and meet accounting and legal obligations. Where applicable, processing relies on contract performance, legal obligations, legitimate operational interests or consent. Marketing emails are subject to your choices and applicable consent requirements; unsubscribe using the link in a message. Essential order messages may still be sent.

Service providers and sharing

Information is shared as needed with Shopify, payment processors, delivery carriers and providers supporting hosting, communication and order administration. We may disclose information to meet a lawful request, protect rights or handle a business transfer with appropriate protections. We do not publish your order details. Shopify may process information for its own platform services as described in its Consumer Privacy Policy. Retention, transfers and security

We retain information for the period needed for orders, support, accounting, disputes and applicable legal duties, then delete or de-identify it where appropriate. Shopify and service providers may process information outside your country, including in countries where they operate. Applicable safeguards are used where legally required. Reasonable security measures are applied, but no system guarantees perfect security. Do not send passwords or full payment details through support forms.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, restrictions or objections, withdrawal of consent, or an opt-out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising. Email service@doorscart.com with the subject Privacy Request and describe your request. We may need proportionate identity verification. Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authority. We respond as required by applicable law and do not discriminate for exercising rights. Contact us to complain or appeal a response; you may also approach your competent data protection authority. Shopify platform requests can be made through Shopify’s privacy portal.

Children and updates

This shopping service is intended for people who can legally make purchases. We do not knowingly collect children’s information; a parent or guardian can contact us to request deletion if a child supplied information. We update this notice when practices or requirements change and revise the effective date, providing further notice when required.
